Dataczar Connect makes it easy to add a pdf to a page, post or menu on your website @ connect.dataczar.com! This tutorial video walks you through the easy steps of adding the pdf to your top menu or to a page. Also, the editing tools are identical for pages and posts, so to add a pdf to a post, just follow the same steps.
Adding a PDF to Your Website | Updated June 15,2022
Reasons:
- Add a downloadable pdf (read, download or print)
- restaurant menu
- job application
- manuals, eBooks or similar publications
- client forms
- specific readings
Step1 (add pdf to your Content and copy link):
> login via dataczar.com or connect.dataczar.com and go to the Content button on the Main Menu
> click Upload button > click Choose Files > double click or click to add file
> file will automatically upload to "My Files"
> go to My Files > click "Copy"
> this copies the link to your clipboard for you to paste later
Step2 (add pdf to a Page or Post):
> go to the Website button on the Main Menu
> click on "Pages" or "Posts"
> click the edit icon to the right side of the page or post that you are adding the pdf to
> scroll down to the editing screen and type in the file name (or whatever description you would like to use)
> highlight the file name and click the Insert/edit link icon (looks like a chain link)
> paste in link (control-v on desktop or laptop) and click "OK"
> scroll down and click "Update"
Step2 (add pdf to a Menu):
> go to the Website button on the Main Menu
> click on "Pages"
> click the dropdown menu to the right side of "+Create Blank Page" and select "+Create Link in Menu"
> enter a Title (file name or whatever description you choose)
> enter link (paste link) under the word "Link" / where it says "Enter Link"
> click Create
